I read "Motherless Brooklyn" and thought that it was alright (though trying to be a little too clever for its own good), but unfortunately I picked up "You Don't Love Me Yet" after that, and it was just absolutely atrocious. It sounds as though "Chronic City" has gone the way of the latter, though I dig the fact that

Not Bad
I have to say that for a band that is named after a Noah Baumbach movie, this stuff is surprisingly good. I especially like "Blue Skies," the song never ceases to make me smile when I listen to it.

We're past the halfway mark of the season?!?!

I too restless drunk people to be an absolute bore.

Charlie!
There is one thing about this episode that I was not pleased to see, and that was possibly the last combination of Kirk Acevedo and Fringe! He said he was getting fired, and they teased us a bit with it in the first episode, but it looks like he really is gone. I mean, Charlie is dead AND evil Charlie is

PS - Ironic that fake Larter is probably dealing with the same problems as real Larter; "I'm not just a hot piece, I'm a person! I can contribute to society! Why does nobody believe me?!?"

Booorrrrrinnnnngggg!
Even for the train wreck this show has become, this episode was face-meltingly boring. Hiro can die at this point, nobody cares. Nathan is remembering that he is not nothing, nobody cares. The Bennetts are messed up, nobody cares. Angela is a politically scheming biatch, we all know and (you

That killed me. Loved it!

OK, listen folks, I like Abed as much as the next guy. But his character is just Arabic (Indian? I haven't paid attention to Abed's lineage) Sheldon (from Big Bang Theory) — and while I like the character, I know Jim Parsons when I see him, and Pudi is no Jim Parsons. Chevy still is my scene-stealer.

Damon
Seriously, how about the scene that played after the credits with him eviscerating Vince via voicemail and then breaking down into tears and apologizing. You had it right when you said he acted circles around them, I think Entourage has seen its funniest 20 seconds.

Good Line
"I'll trade therapy for sex."

I will re-issue your FACE!!!!

What bugged me was the fact that we got pretty much zero advancement of the overall plot. In fact, where was Charlie? Where was Nina Sharpe? Where was the new agent girl (she hasn't earned a name yet)? I understand the need for throwaway episodes here or there, you don't want to blow your wad to quickly, but at

It's pretty good. I got it yesterday. A little gloss on some of the tracks, but most retain their twangy charm. I give it a B.

In fairness to Greg Grunberg, the writers are not exactly giving him gold to work with in Matt Parkman. Also, he was plenty competent on Alias, and whatever JJ Abrams stuff where he pops in for a couple of scenes (Lost, Mission Pimppossible III)

Who brought up Grizzly Bear and Animal Collective? Not me.

But my heart is like a kick drum.

Penny & Lenny
I like the fact that the show looks like it's clearly edging its way back toward the status-quo of having Penny and Leonard split apart. It wouldn't really matter if the two were together or not, except for whatever reason it seems that the interaction between Penny and Leonard is the worst of any two

Word. Seriously, though… shoot me.

Seriously. Shoot me.
