*holds you*

It doesn't sound silly to me. Internet communities can be a huge part of one's life. I cried a bit when I realized SuicideGirls had become unusable: I had made real life friends from that place!

I'm not sick anymore! It's so great!

I'm not going to be using the new commenting system. I just won't use Kinja. I'm kind of resigned to it: I didn't think I'd be commenting on the AV Club forever, as most Internet things don't stay like that. I'll miss it, but I've got the Avocado and TIF.

I kind of wish I were a worse person, so I could spend my last few weeks commenting here before the switch telling off people I don't like.

Read Squirrel Girl Beats up the Marvel Universe, which was soooooooooooo good.

MLA's Sobriety Corner

Here, have what I was planning to post on Reasonable Discussions later today:

And in Chicago, too!

Yeah, go back to yesterday's Newswires for a post with the details.

If you ever miss us, you need only look to The Avocado for comfort, as many of us will live on there, in quiet dignity.

This is such a perfect quote for the situation. O'Neal was right!

Can I just say how much I'll miss you fine folks when the Kinja switch happens?

You don't need invites!

You mean regular features or just any random individual article?

My name is Zweig.

Huzzah!

Those comments were everything wrong with tech guys all summed up in one place.

Yeah, I'm not sticking around for it. But you're always welcome on The Avocado!
