Shove her!

Sorry that was dickish. Still can we please get over the whole so and so was a piece of shit in his private life meme? Please?

Yeah. You know who else left his family? Bill fucking Shakespeare. Most of our tawdry little lives wouldn't hold up under a microscope. Didjyaknowhis wife and kids? Did his indisctetions affect you personally? Because otherwise your morbid tabloid obsessions are just boring.

To open with those three songs was pretty fucking brave given the overall pop landscape of the time. "Wanna see where my heads at? Stick this in your saddle shoes."

"Yer blues John. Yer BLUES, John. Yer blues John."

I'm an insufferable prick of a John fan, but I 'liked' this anyway.

Next thing you know all the kids'll be smashing records and sporting buzz cuts in protest.

Tell Me What You See, also from Help!, has that great electric piano break. But yeah, probly not in the same league.

Some of the earliest examples of Paul's outre' guitar stylings.

Comment threads full of ugly, ugly children.

. . . wait, I'm already home.

This is one of those deals where the original was so familiar to me when I heard the stringless version, that it's impossible to be objective. Would a new pair of sneakers be better than my worn in beat-up pair? Ehhh . . .

I love it for the cover above all else cause it's clear that somebody</ie> just discovered weed.

As long as she's not mangling indie rock ballads I'm a happy man.

That's another one where the production almost overshadows the songwriting / arranging. It still bowls you over today, I can only imagine what it must have sounded like in 1966.

Yeah, yeah but the production, the arrangement, the fucking SOUND man. That song is amazing.

Them or you? Or both?

It's an oversimplification, but I've always felt like Ringo plays to the song, whereas Charlie plays to the groove. Plus Charlie and Keith have a whole telepathic thing going on that transcends the drum parts by themselves.

"This looks like the same piece of shit sky blue Cadillac you had before!"

People are complicated. Fucking deal.
