You're right, I did kind of fail to mention the woman's murdered body was also in the car.  I thought people who knew the show well might remember the shifter knob detail and know the name of the victim.

For me the updates were like getting to travel 20 years in the future. My favorite was a case with a woman whose car was parked at her apartment building with the shifter knob removed. The segment went to great lengths to develop the three most probable suspects. UPDATE: doo-doo-doo-doo. It was none of those dudes! It

They mention it at the beginning of the episode. Also, UM is awesomely, AWESOMELY dated — keep in mind that unlike fictional 80s tv there isn't an effort to make these people look good or stylish— the Farina episodes really succeed because they recycle old crimes. You get fantastic updates that way.

It doesn't matter what grouping or subgrouping of institutions you are part of, one of them is the butt.  Sure, it's different now, but I think 25 years ago the Ivy League butt was probably Brown.  In any case, neck-and-neck with Harvard is a bit of a stretch unless your comparison class is pretty large.

Dave Foley said on the commentary that ep was intended to be a KitH reunion that didn't happen because of something like "they're all a bunch of dicks."  Maybe he was still mad when he said that.

I say it all the time when wishing someone off.  Two dudes going to lunch?  "Enjoy your death trap, ladies!"

Spacey's the best part of Margin Call, too.

This line deserves a lot more scorn.

Pretty sure it's in the Dick in the Box episode, no?

I get that L&O is different from something with an arc, but to deny that certain procedurals are not bingeworthy is to ignore TNT's business model for the last decade.
