Yeah, I'm fairly certain that the dancers' skills, life stories, and family members in the audience are on Nigel's sheet.  One of the reasons it was fucking ridiculous when he asked the Japanese dancer his name (which was not even a hard or unusual Japanese name!) and said "I'm sorry I asked."

I agree, think his phrasing and (intentional) slurriness are specifically indebted to Hedberg.  Not that there's anything wrong with that; he's not biting his jokes.
