God help me, I kind of love the cheesy guitar riffs.

Mitchell and Pumaman are the winners for me, too.

I think Cunningham adds a lot to that character.  I agree about him bringing some warmth and humor to his: "I'm doing the right thing and I'm going to pay for it."  I never really got that from book Davos.

I think the montage of Banderas learning the Vikings' language, where the they slowly add a few more words of English into their speech as the scenes progress, was pretty top notch.  Also, I'm in the minority of people who have seen it and like it.

Buliwyf!  I guess have to watch this show now.  I love The 13th Warrior.  Vikings vs. Cave Men!  And an awesome Jerry Goldsmith score to boot.

And then they turned Waterston into Adam Schiff 2.0 and it was all gravy again.  I liked him better as DA than as an ADA.

I love the bookend Seasons.  The first four with Michael Moriarty are great.  And the last three with Sisto, Anderson and Roache are nearly as good.  The best thing about all those seasons is they focus on more street and organized crime and not so much on rich family members killing each other and then having a

I still think the Scarrans are probably the most bad-ass looking alien race on a TV series.  Especially the Emperor, he looks awesome.

Since it's briefly mentioned in the article, I just want to say Hickman's Avengers is just so much fun right now.  My favorite book right now.

Batman got dropped due to disappointment.  I'm down to just Avengers and Superior Spider-man.

Is that writer from Scott Bakula Necessary Roughness or USA Necessary Roughness?  I can get behind the former.  Not so much the latter.

Wait, so what is this terrible Annie plot people keep talking about that ruins the character in the third episode?

I like the Blind Boys' version a lot, but I find I end up listening to the Neville Brother's version the most.  I really like the edge the heavier beat adds to the song.

I always thought Order of the Phoenix was the worst.  The last half hour was basically people going "Ptew ptew ptew" with wands.

The Paper Chase and M*A*S*H* films are way better than their TV counterparts.

I've been loving Slott's run so far.  I honestly thought Superior #1 made Amazing #700 retroactively better.  It clarified a lot about the status quo that #700 didn't and made the dynamic really interesting.  I even applaud them for trying as hard as they can to bait everyone into thinking the "death" was permanent.

I'd probably go:

Why does the camera focus on the two black guys coming into the diner or on the table of boy scouts?  In Tony's world everything could be a potential threat.  Doesn't mean that it is.  I think this is like politics, though.  One side is never going to convince the other, so enjoy it for however you see it.

I've always viewed it not as Tony dying, but as the show itself being bumped off.  I don't think there's any evidence a Members-Only jacket guy came up and offed Tony or anybody else for that matter.  Plus the show has never been only from his perspective.  Even the final scene has the cutaways to Meadow.  I think
