I've always viewed it not as Tony dying, but as the show itself being bumped off.  I don't think there's any evidence a Members-Only jacket guy came up and offed Tony or anybody else for that matter.  Plus the show has never been only from his perspective.  Even the final scene has the cutaways to Meadow.  I think

I'm not thrilled with them turning the Joker into basically a supernatural villain.  The flesh mask is just such a ridiculous and gross concept.  But the storyline does have me intrigued at this point.

I guess I'm one of those three as well.  The scenes taken directly from the book really get that warmer tone.  I mean, the dwarf dinner scene is basically lifted directly from the book and introduces 15 characters.  It's going to be a little long. It really reminded me of reading the book as a kid. Some of the

The 48 fps looks crystal clear as long as the camera isn't moving.  When he starts whipping the camera around it looks way off.  It would be great if they were filming a static stage play, not so much during the battle scenes.

Is it possible that people overrate the original trilogy just a bit?  I saw this on Tuesday and really enjoyed it, but some of the problems people are pointing out are 100% there in the originals.  Occasional bad CGI?  Check.  Overlong battle scenes? Double check.  Scenes that go on forever?  End of the Return of the

Got to go to a screening on Tuesday. I think the critics are being a little too harsh on this one.  It's padded for sure, but it's not like the padding is trash, although everything you've heard about Radagast is true.  He's definitely Jar Jar-esque, but he's only in the movie about 10 minutes.  And I don't think

This was the first episode where the animation really popped for me, too.  I agree with Growing Pains and World's Finest standing out, too.  I'd probably add Never Fear, Mean Seasons and Over the Edge to the list as well.

The Departed is great, if a little over-plotted, and I really loved Hugo, but Bringing Out the Dead is his last film that felt like it was made by the same Scorsese who did Taxi Driver or Goodfellas to me.

I love Bringing Out the Dead.  The two scenes in Cliff Curtis' drug den alone would make it worthwhile.  Robert Richardson's cinematography is some of the best ever committed to film, in my opinion.

"I Am Furious Yellow" is another later one that feels like it could be from an earlier season to me.
