I agree with everyone above that the lack of newsstand outlets is really hurting print comics.  It's really hard to keep the base going without kids getting interested.  Bookstores are sadly closing up shop.  And the lack of any shelf space in convenience stores or supermarkets is a real killer.  Can the companies not

I miss Katie on Stuff You Missed in History Class.  She's just a little more fun than Dablina.  It also seems like they used to do more ancient history, which I tend to find a lot more interesting than just stuff from Elizabethan England and the 1800s to mid 1900s.

Can't wait for next week.  I love "How the Ghosts Stole Christmas."

I really hate Kaisha.  I thought it took all the momentum the season was building and just killed it.  Plus, Tony in a beret is terrible.  I'll be curious to see what Todd thinks now.

I didn't read Severed.  I'll have to check it out.  I do like most of Snyder's work that I've read.  I'll just assume the annual was a blip.  I'm glad he's getting more exposure.  Jason Aaron is another one who I'm glad to see start getting more work, too.

Agreed! He's just a random psycho and Batman has enough of those to fight.  And who thought having him wear an outfit with no sleeves was a good call?

A small part of me wishes that they would have just randomly inserted Bat-Mite into the middle of this story.  That would have been so crazy I would have loved it.  I always get a little disappointed when he breaks down.

Well, in fairness, most of the artists you named can produce about 6-8 issues a year, if that.  Romita generally does around 18-24.  That's pretty amazing.  Comics need guys who can make the trains run on time, too.  Although I'm with Bale, I think his stuff is distinctive.

As soon as I saw the guests I just started cracking up.  Doug obviously hates himself.  i'm almost to the end and this might be a Top 5-er.
