Add me into the "likes the remix and visuals" camp.  It threw me off the first time I saw it, but it grows on you fast.

The first time I watched this episode I had a real hard time following the motivations of everyone in the Kendall/Fitzpatrick's side of the storyline.  Was I the only one who found that plot a little confusing?

Anonymous - I HATE the series finale.  I won't go into spoilers but I think it destroys most of the characters to try to get them back to their season one characterizations.  And talk about inconsequential, all of the new characters introduced in season 5 are basically rendered pointless.  Of course, they weren't very

Yeah, I think Season 2 kind of falls apart after this.  They introduce a lot of cool ideas that then get absolutely zero payoff in the finale and Season 3 flat out stinks.  I think I'm in the minority, but I actually kind of like Season 4.  I thought the three-part finale with the water ball was pretty cool.  I can't

I should add, SVU also has shit writing.  NCIS is at least enjoyable as a procedural.

My main issue with the show is I just don't like Mark Harmon's character.  He's so dour and smug at the same time and the show just continually acts like he's right to act that way.  I just keep thinking if I was on his team I would want to kill either him or myself at the end of the work day.  Same thing with the SVU

Philip Seymour Hoffman.

I think Spiner as Data is great, but the last time I watched TNG, any time he tries to display emotions of any kind seems to turn ugly fast.

Best all-time Trek Actors?

The production design is so good, the movie is fun to me, and Hoskins and Gwynn are terrific.  I also love Remar as Dutch Schultz.  Super-guilty pleasure of mine, but I do enjoy it.

I agree with Miller, in case you couldn't tell from my post.  I don't find them boring at all.  Plus, their role gets expanded in season 3.

I agree.  The Fitzpatrick's pose a more legitimate physical threat to Veronica than just about anyone.  They're one of the few villains that actually treat her like a high school student, which I always appreciated.

I follow.  For some reason I always read that scene as him saying Newman had booked it for 2000, but the actual millenium was 2001 so his party would be lame.  But I definitely think you're reading that right. Like Otto says, it's still kind of stupid.

Maybe I'm remembering this wrong, but it always bugged me that Jerry tells Newman his party will be one year too late, when actually it will be one year too early if you use Jerry's logic.  Pennypacker and George trying to get fired are great though.

I'll also noticed the Didi Conn resemblance.  Instantly made her not attractive to me as well.

I have to agree about Brooks.  He out-Shatners Shatner pretty often. I think he and Nana Visitor are the weak links in the cast.  Andrew Robinson and Rene Auberjonois, on the other hand, are tits.

I hope Michael Patrick King has been taking copious notes from the final scene of Christmas Story.  "Deck the harr with bough of horry fa ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra!"

This is my favorite episode of any Star Trek series.  It's just one big celebration of discovery and exploration, which is what the show is about.

I love this finale, even if it's not as powerful as last week's episode.  What's odd is, even though it's ominous for Carmela, there's also something comforting about Tony trudging home in the snow, sometimes it's satisfying for the viewer to get back to the status quo.  Glad Tidings is awesome.  I agree with Todd

I don't think they're great either.  I'd add in War World and the two episodes with the Demon as kind of shitty, too.
