I wonder how he presented them — were they chucked in her yard, left on her doorstep, handed to her wrapped in a kerchief, or suspended in fluid in a mason jar, with a ribbon around it, like a gift of homemade pickles.  Presentation is important.

It'll turn out to be Rachel, from Orphan Black.

Shaw self-identified as sociopathic, which I took with a giant grain of salt since she was saying that to intimidate a bunch of guys — who, to be fair, she then shot.  She can be reckless, is destructive, and seems empathy-challenged, but it's hard to say whether that's a result of her  compartmentalizing her emotions

The mysterious investor is actually a winery whose pre-eminent brand is Rising Gorge.

I thought Alphas was great, but I haven't seen enough of SHIELD to say one was better than the other, yet.  Alphas started well and continued to improve.  I'm willing to give SHIELD enough rope for now — it may scale a mountain or it may hang itself.

I miss them too, but I think I'd have preferred that the Alphas team showed up.

Exactly the thought I had immediately after watching this.  He's much more expressive than the guy playing Ward and would have sold both the comedy and the drama better.

I was distracted by the fact that he was wearing the same clothes he was buried in (and presumably decomposed in) throughout the episode, which somehow magically self-cleaned.

The mirror scene?  I giggled.

That's ram-horned nekkid scoliosis Satan, bucko.

"Spirits of Illusion!  If you ever want to work in this town again, lower me to the floor!"

I am so with you on #1.  That was a wasted opportunity.  I guess it's still possible she'll meet Mikey in the hallway in DC and turn out to outrank him.  Or maybe she'll be playing a long con that doesn't pay off until next season.

Briggs set him up by giving him a phone linked to Odin when he "helped" him get out of the country with a fake ID etc.  Knew Briggs had an angle there.

Also, he likes his arms free when he dances.  Such fluid motion.

It didn't squick me, it just seemed emotionless/meaningless/unearned.  When two characters kiss for the first time, it should be "Ohhhhh!" or "Yes, finally!" and not ". . . Really?" or "Whatever."

Yes!  And perhaps next season, Briggs will fully succumb to Odin Sleep.

That was my interpretation too — that Jakes dropped the number to Mikey on purpose because he was tired of being in the middle of this bullshit.

Took me a moment to realize that you meant the original show when you mentioned "Bron" — which of course now has me picturing Bronn from Game of Thrones on The Bridge.  Would.  Watch.

I am genuinely surprised that Ray is still alive.  That look Charlotte gave him after she killed Tim — for a hot second, I thought she was gonna shoot him too.  I guess she needs Ray alive to be the patsy when the ATF comes calling.

I see Tate less as Super Man and more as DeVry University Batman.
