Yeah, the whole serial killer thing turning out to be a front for a revenge plot is less interesting and beggars belief — I mean, Tate killed all those other people just to get Marco's attention/involvement in the case?  Even if he subcontracted much of the killing out to Crazypants McIshotsonya, that's still . . . a

Wow, that closed captioning description pretty much removes any subtlety, doesn't it?  I noticed the running water sound the 1st time when Marco and Sonya were in the kitchen, and it was still there when she went back to swallow her Vicodin.  If Gus isn't in a tank in a basement at that house, the tank he's in might

Could've been a Tom Arnold upskirt.

There was also a shot of her in the foreground during the dance-off where she had this manic expression — something about the animation and the angle/perspective made it funnier somehow.

"Something's come up.  It's vomit."

Sure, Mom could whip up a fresh kidney — for an extremely high price.  Hell, Farnsworth could likely figure out how to lab-grow one, right after he invents the fingEVENlonger.

"Worst sleeping bag ever!"

One of the few screenshots from this ep that didn't feature someone doing the "NOT SURE IF SERIOUS" face.  I guess they could have done a collage of those.

Perma-Jammed!

Stu Sutcliffe clone or GTFO.

@avclub-13d7df3c17502af69aafccc758195f96:disqus Jangles is the Dread Pirate Roberts!

Paige's character has all the depth of a thin sheet of paper, making her name quite appropriate.  Maybe that'll change.

Agreed.

My previous suspicion that Abby might be some kind of counter-spy has now been amended to: I fervently hope she is spying on Mike and his buddies.  If not part of a criminal organization, then as some kind of government house-cleaner/contingency plan in case their operations go sideways.  Which they have.

Additionally, I think Mike may just be realizing that he's been lying to himself about his ability to pull this off, possibly explaining why he's going to pieces a bit.

On FXXX, as Futurama After Dark.

I loved that.  Because of course Fry would fall into that same manhole — no one else, just Fry.  Plus, there's a nice symmetry to how he goes one way (down, to the sewers) because of Leela, and she goes the other way (to the sky) because of him, aka the "magic" beans he got.

The constant end-of-ep reveals are starting to make me want each of them to have the Dramatic Prairie Dog music behind them.

Yeah, Mike's all "Briggs is a good guy, really!  We should help him!" and all I could hear was "DERP!"  Handler-guy (I can't remember his name either) probably has a different idea of what "help" would entail.

I feel like the show wants Mike to ride the line between sympathetic and unsympathetic with an edge toward sympathy, since he is sort of a male ingenue here, but his actions and demeanor are putting him more on the unsympathetic side.  "Never tell Mike anything" is damn right.
