@avclub-6ca57d2774f04ac8acf3d2b10f0338f4:disqus When Claudia sat down to chat with Gregory, I was completely certain she was gonna Han Solo him under the table, right up until she didn't.

Indeed.  I knew from the ads that I would never watch this show, but I'm so glad I felt the smidgen of schadenfreude that caused me to read this review.  Truly inspired, Sonia.  Thank you for sparing the time and braincells to watch this mess.

Well, that makes sense — if you fail to achieve a 69, it's pretty much time for an F.

Damn, just one letter off from ROFL.

Awesome — thank you for the clarification!

I'm not sure I believe that Yara actually sent someone to rescue Theon.  Bolton's men are torturing him, so I have to wonder if they're including psychological torture as well — get Theon to feel hope, then take it away.  Guess we'll find out.

Good thing for her it wasn't a bomb.

MAHBLE CAHLUMNS!

Sudeikis might have nailed the line, but he's not really an impressionist.  As to Pharoah's Usher . . . I can't even think of anything distinctive about Usher's delivery that would make an impression of him easily recognizable.  Hader's impression of Adam Levine worked because he got the voice right.  I was almost

You know, I liked McCarthy's 1st time hosting but remember it being pretty uneven, so I liked this outing better.  I did like the monologue: it was simple, and silly, and she and Taran Killam really sold it.  Of course, I also really hate high heels — good to see them get skewered.  There were plenty of sketches I

Punishing observation.

Only if he actually slaps the hell out of Bieber, and Bieber gets no lines.  And no singing.

I feel like Update should always have about 3 guest segments on it to reduce the Seth-Myers-reading-jokes time.  Part of that's because I'm not a fan of Myers', but most of it is that I think Weekend Update was always better with 2 anchors — different people delivering the lines helps break up the monotony.

What amped up the funny for me in that sketch is the fact that she was lip-synching "Ham" during the dance.  Her recorded voice with the deadpan delivery repeated over the ridiculous dance choreography — so silly.

I agree that the "why" is the more interesting part.  It would have been cooler to find out the "what" about the others more gradually, but it's not a show-killer to know in advance.

Oh, he's definitely an obstacle, but it's Beth's money — she lied to her partner about it being a joint account, possibly because she suspects that it was some kind of payoff.  Bank dude in the last ep was surprised that "Beth" wanted to close her brand-new $75,000.00 account in her name.

Department of Extremely Minor Corrections:  Her name's Sarah, not Sara.  (At least that's how the official Orphan Black marketing spells it.)

Yeah, she has that "find people's weak spots and push" thing going for her — watching her put the screws to that therapist was lovely to behold.

I thought he was just her boyfriend, but now I can't remember if it was specified.  Seems like they'd be wearing rings if they were married.  And yeah, her overt distaste for Cap'n Bland was great.
