Yup — I'd been wondering what he'd been up to.  I did a fistpump and cheer when he doffed his Obi Wan cloak.

Part of me wants Tywin to realize he'd been talking to Arya the whole time at Harrenhal, just so he has something (more) to be pissed at himself for, but the rest of me wants him to never know — until and unless Arya's blade comes for his throat.

I agree with your assessment, but I also think Tyrion was testing his father a bit to see where he stood — trying to ping his location in the heirarchy.  He understandably didn't like the answer, but now he knows for sure.  With that in mind, Tyrion can move forward with a bit more traction.

I miss Varys too — loved his scenes with Tyrion (and Ros) last year.  Hopefully, he'll be back next episode.

Cannot.  Unsee.  (Not many bearded robots.)

Man, the daggers were seriously out for that dinner conversation — loved it!  Also enjoyed the little glances between the Tyrells as if to say "So this is how vicious they are!  Good to know."

Sidenote RE: Alphas: the little girl who played Skylar's daughter seems to be playing Sarah's daughter.  So at least someone from that is still getting work.

I liked the jumble of accents — doesn't really feel like a city when everyone speaks the same way.

I like watching his geek-oriented talk show, but I do wish he would stop shouting.  He hasn't reached Billy Mays-level volume yet, so here's hoping he can rein that in.

I am glad it was equal opportunity, but I was a little surprised to see as much they showed at 9pm eastern time.  Not offended, just sort of "Huh.  Didn't know they could do this before 10pm." — then again, I suppose that since basic cable isn't beholden to the same regs as regular network tv, they can do as they like.

Yeah, I'm not liking how much is being revealed in the ads, but that's been going on for months, really.  So far, the show's pretty intriguing and suspenseful, giving out enough information for people to follow the story without disassociating the audience from the confusion Sarah is feeling.  So I guess there's still

I can't see celery the same way since MacGruber.

Indeed — crouching in front of an enemy and saying "Oh no!" is not the best defense.  She didn't even run!  The character seemed too smart, and too stubborn, to ever give up like that.

When they got on the motorbike, I expected to see him snap his fingers to close the Tardis door (cut for time? or just forgotten?), but yeah, he's seems to be able to land that thing with pinpoint accuracy.  Combine his Tardis-rapport in The Doctor's Wife with River's possible tutelage (as suggested by

If they do, I hope they let at least one version of her wear an orange parka.

I'm down with this.  An entire episode with no dialog, save for untranslated barks and yowls/hisses?  Archer could pull it off.

"Pam!"

How cheesy.
