Snyder's Batman is good and Morrison's Batman Inc. was often very good. I've heard good things abut Pak's Batman/Superman too.

I remember liking his work on "Infinite Crisis" (yeah, yeah, I know, but we blame Meltzer for that, right?), but now I feel like I should revisit that collection just to check. Because he was frequently pretty crappy on Action.

Here's (one of) the problem(s). Many, but not all, of the books that aren't on the docket this month have a "substitute" issue on one of the decimal point books. The problem is that, in order to goose sales, DC assigned those substitute books to a better selling title (for example, Justice League 23.3: Dial E #1,

After reading Morrison's Action run, have to disagree that Morales is a "great artist."

It's not awful, it's great. I have no desire to defend the man at this point, but damn if (most of) those Ender books aren't really good.

Ugh. I love those Ender books, but come on, man.

@avclub-da518aecddbf5c94588f53562012c452:disqus Framing DC's success in Market Share percentage is disingenuous — and not only because those percentages are affected by the fact that Marvel just got done with the first wave of a line-wide rebrand. In June 2013, DC's total dollar amount in floppies sold is up almost $2

I also miss the old DC, but there really were a lot of problems. I'm looking over some of the 2010/2011 solicits right now, and there's some real stinkers: Brightest Day, Superman Grounded, Wonder Woman Odyssey, the Green Lantern: Brightest Day and War of the Green Lanterns storylines (the worst parts of Johns's run),

I know I'm late to the conversation on this, but what about Squire?

And, unlike Harmon, he probably wasn't joking.

No, what I mean is that if a kid went into a comics shop and asked for a Professor Pyg comic, the LCS owner would have virtually no choice but to give him an issue in which the professor hypnotized young girls and melted their faces.

As much as Prof. Pyg was quite good over much of Morrison's run (Toad… eh), this does seem a peculiar way to start a Batman kids show. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't 99 percent of the Prof. Pyg comics material among Batman's more morbidly disturbing adventures?

Not reeeeally, but it helps. Basically, [MILD SPOILERS] a guy in Hawkeye's apartment building got murdered on the roof by an assassin in creepy clown makeup the previous issue. The guy works for these eastern European thugs who hate Hawkeye.

You really should buy the hell out of all of these issues. Hawkeye is consistently great.

Oh bullshit. Harmon is making a critical judgment of a television show and facetiously joking that it caused him great emotional trauma. This would only be the same if he called out Megan Ganz as a literal rapist.

Oh, I agree, but the way everyone is portraying this, he is a jerk not because of word choice, but because he had the gall to say he didn't like a season of a TV show and then explain why (granted, the word choice is part of it, but as @avclub-6997a8bd0e1042b70b60c5c879a1780e:disqusillustrated above, it's more about

It's dumb that everyone is so upset about this, especially people who didn't even listen to the podcast. Sure, some of the stuff he said was ill-advised (especially the rape joke), but why is he, the person who has the biggest case for having opinions about Community, not allowed to express his opinions of Community?

I have a feeling that most of these comments are being made by people who haven't listened to Harmontown. It's basically Harmon's weird, drunken diary where he says whatever he wants with no filter, and I can assure you that that quote about raping his family A). absolutely was a hyperbolic joke and not a real

I don't like Didio, but I think DC's main problem is that they're owned by a huge corporation that is only interested in the company for sales and, nowadays, its ability to churn out movie material.

Oh man, I want to murder Guy so bad. He's one of my least favorite characters in comes.
