That's an incredibly reductive view of the movement (and again, I'm not a Tea Partier). There are already different factions within the movement — the emotional, more prone to conspiratorial thinking side and the issue focused, small government, Ron Paulesque side, for example.

Where has he ever said that all gay men are pedophiles? Having read a significant portion of his fiction, I can say that I have never read a gay person in his books being portrayed that way. There is, of course, the famous portrayal in "Hamlet's Father" (which I have not read), though Card has vehemently denied any

Definitely would not identify as a Tea Partier, but some of the generalizations here are rather disappointing. The Tea Party is made up of people of a variety of beliefs, just like the GOP and Democratic Party — or any other party, for that matter.
