Nadine's first (and possibly only) appearance here, as being blissfully smug while listening to Dr. Jacoby's crackpot Alex Jonesing, is infinitely amusing to me.

Sure, but Abrams' contribution was more in directing them really well than in finding them. These happen to be bad examples, because Lynch and Lucas are both directors with atypical amounts of control over their projects, and Abrams is more an assigned director (e.g., he did not own any of those projects and moved on…
I assume most people working in law enforcement are still terrified by the 1986 Mets.
Abrams is a studio guy with far less final say on casting choices than an indie guy like Lynch. I wouldn't say he 'found' any of those actors in any meaningful way, even if he directed their first major projects.
Druggie, do you have a Trans Am, Druggie?
The shot of BOB and DoppelCoop laughing is without question from 2.22, I've seen the episode enough to recognize the rhythm of the laughter. (Plus FWWM's lighting of the Black Lodge was noticeably different.) I'm pretty sure it's the same footage with mirror too. I don't think we've flashed back to any FWWM footage…
I could go back and check 2.22 but it looks like there is indeed more to the frames' sides than less to the top and bottom. The shot of DoppelCoop with BOB in the mirror is already a tight one and it doesn't look any tighter in 3.05, just wider.
He was also Liz Lemon's agent on 30 Rock.
Not impossible, but this isn't Boardwalk Empire or Game Of Thrones where environments get added in post. Highly unlikely for a low-budget number like this.
It could go either way; some shows were anticipating the format switch and were framing for both, which is why the HD Seinfeld transfers in syndication now suddenly have coverage on the sides which was not included in their DVD releases.
I always assumed Albert was gay in the original series.
He could also technically be Donna's kid, depending on how thoroughly she took Ben to the cleaners during the paternity suit.
I assumed they could only be talking about Annie, because at the conclusion of Season 2 we are to accept that she is, in fact, Cooper's true love, and would have thus been most likely to spiral downward in the time since his disappearance, as well as the person most adept at telling whether DoppelCoop is really him.…
I'm loving all the "groundbreaking for the new such-and-such" theories drawn from The Secret History, in retrospect.
It wrapped last summer. (In plastic.)
A lot of it could be Seyfried's acting, but I just assumed it was a 22-year-old playing the role.
Audrey and DoppelCoop makes a whole lot of scary sense. If the manufactured Dougie can have a kid, then so can DoppelCoop. Maybe that's what sends Audrey into her drinking spiral, unless Gordon and Albert were talking about Annie.
Either way, Tim Allen's making money!
I don't know if this has been discussed before, but it's interesting that the original series was apparently shot in widescreen per all the flashback shots. The Complete Mystery boxed set still had everything in full screen. So I guess we can look forward to a fourth disc release of the original series in another five…
Oh! Twin Peaks is the name of the town!
