well, there are people who could come off as cringe-worthy by saying those sorts of things, but Annie doesn't come off that way to me. It's actually surprising how much I DON'T find her pretentious, she just seems cool and down to earth.

boo this man

because we're all gonna die anyway, right?

Colin Jost looks like his dad gave him a yacht on his 21st birthday and he just sits on it with a smirk on weekends

seriously, they need to start finding ways to fill the opening monologue without falling back on A) songs, or B) 'surprise' appearances from past cast members or costars of whatever the host is promoting (although the latter is usually somewhat amusing depending on the people involved). I love opening monologues that

I should have expected that to happen given that it was a blowjob technique video, but I was still surprised and had to laugh.

Don't hold back, that's just a nice way of saying "you're a sad old person (either in body or spirit, or both) who completely gave up on the world around you, and you lash out at everyone and everything advancing past you instead of trying to join in"

I fully agree that drums are very important to the feel of a song, but I think generally speaking, songwriting credits are determined by who wrote the core melodies/riffs to a song. Otherwise, every member would get a songwriting credit for every single song, since each member is important to a band's sound. Although

I've always wished that there could have been one show where Bonham played "Barracuda" on drums with Heart. Michael DeRossier was pretty damn good though.

You sound like a person who hates fun.

Ah, I am so happy to see this today. This has always been one of my favorite Zeppelin songs, as well as one of those rare songs that makes me smile no matter what mood I'm in. It's hard not to be happy once you hear that acoustic intro and then the full band.

since we're covering all of the Dave bases here, "Scentless Apprentice" has some crazy kick drum work.

I was actually surprised to learn that Gene Trautmann played on that track (and I think one other on Songs For The Deaf), I always assumed that Dave drummed on the entire album. Either way, you're right about that kick drum

They've been playing the full band version again within the past year or two, at least in all of the live videos I've seen. Let's hope they keep it up and don't go back to the boring solo version by the time I see them next summer.

you're a fuckboy

more like CATurday, am I right?

I totally forgot about these until now, but "Princes Familiar" and the cover of "King Of Pain" from Alanis Morissette's Unplugged CD really remind me of Christmas time and winter in general.

can't you hear crickets or a sprinkler in the background too? Then, all of a sudden, Jazz yelling "AHHHHH!"

Weezer's Blue Album gives me happy Christmas-y vibes, especially "My Name Is Jonas". Also, some of Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie by Alanis Morissette, probably because I first got into that album in late November/early December a few years back

fuck you buddy, that song rules
(and I say "fuck you" with love)
