Maria Bamford

So, no Rita Hayworth ascending a ziggurat for you, then?

I think "exactly passable" is exactly right.

The production is definitely sparse/simple, but that's in keeping with the old school vibe they were going for.

Thank you, Nathan…
…for defending "To the 5 Borroughs." It's a great throwback record. I guess haters gotta hate.

No, the main guy…which is included in the interview above…

I saw this at an advance screening, courtesy of the AV Club, and the entire theater erupted in laughter upon seeing the tattoo. At least he's aware of its silliness. (And "champ stamp" is kind of awesome.)

Why does everyone who thinks it was faked believe that all the Angela stuff was real? My impression, when watching it, was that it wasn't real & everyone was in on it, but that didn't make me dislike it at all.

Yes, Murse - I was one of those people suckered by the "you've gotta know the twist!" marketing. That, combined with the buzz and good reviews, was enough to make me want to see it, and avoid everything I could about the movie. I was expecting something more straight-horror, but wasn't at all disappointed when I

*Otto's VOICE

Just wanted to say that I, too, found Otto's strange-sounding. Also, can you believe Otto was playing a video game about driving a bus while actually driving a bus?! That knucklehead!

You might say that, with all the begging, many characters were on their Hands and Knees. Roger was pleading with Lee Garner, Lane was literally on his hands and knees with his dad - as was Don, puking from panic (and perhaps partially, with Don asking Pete to cover for him). Any other instances?

I really love this season. The first has always been my favorite, but this one may just beat it out by season's end.

*Sorkin. I'm so sorking angry I made that typo.

This show has that annoying kind that was brought in, then quickly abandoned, for the first post-Sorking season of the West Wing. He was also in Bring it On. I hate that kid. But maybe he and Smits can talk about how they're now slumming it, post-West Wing.

Women be changin' clothes

LOL @ Skip, truly.

Last season was season 4, which is when he got tired of it. Or am I missing something?

"Who Jackie?"

Wow, this is a long thread. And it's about to get longer…
