Yes, that's what I was thinking, too. Sounds like the "Song for the Unification of Europe" by Preisner.

That said, I think the fact that Bobby possessed an innocent woman twice, thereby putting her in the line of fire

@avclub-c3e2b07beb77be0742d070110c0aa476:disqus I'm not saying that they necessarily should have brought him back, although it certainly didn't bug me as much as it bugged others. Yes, Frank was preaching the same lesson, and the standalone with Eliot Ness also touched on that theme (Dean and Eliot's talk in the car,

@avclub-539dd8f0bef239887a73fd3b475a07c0:disqus Well, yes and no. I tend to think watching Dean get tortured and then torturing others doesn't make for particularly compelling TV (Eli Roth might disagree), whereas watching Dean stranded in a strange place being hunted and having to fend for himself with no weapons

I've never read fanfic, but if you wrote it I think I would start.

Plus I like how Bobby's goodbye monologue spoke to one of the (in my opinion) major themes of the back half of the season, namely finding a reason to keep going. The boys stopped the apocalypse, but there's still evil popping up everywhere. Their friends betray them, and/or they die. It's a totally thankless job.

I think that jacket was stolen a few years back, but I could be making that up.

I liked it overall, but I had a few logistical issues. The first was that the boys left the flask in the car at the gas station so they could go in and talk about Bobby without him hearing, but then in the very next scene they're in the car in front of vampire house and Bobby could zap himself inside and search the

I've been enjoying this season a lot more than you have, but there is definitely a degree of sloppiness in the writing lately. The (hopefully) good news is that next season there will be a new showrunner, so perhaps the shakeup will help in the big-picture department!

That bass and organ bit has GOT to go. When it was used sparingly it really worked (Bad Day at Black Rock comes to mind), but it's been the default background music for the past two seasons.

Yeah, when Sam and Dean were realizing that all of them had hooked up with her I could feel my eyes rolling back into my head, but was then pleasantly surprised that their reaction was more just "Huh, well okay" than "LOL slut." More power to her indeed!
