Yeah, Irina was a great character. Too bad we had to put up with her two much less entertaining sisters (not even Isabella Rossellini could save Katya) as well as Sydney's COMPLETELY UNREASONABLE/UNREALISTIC anger at her dad for "killing" Irina during Season 4.

I REALLY hope I'm not forgetting said one line of dialogue.

It's more that they got rid of her without an explanation. I understand that actors will be unavailable, but Anna just disappeared. No one ever said "Anna has been captured by the French-Chinese!" or "Where's Anna? She didn't come to my party Friday night." All they needed was one line of dialogue.

The only things I remember about Charlie are that he sings at one point and the Vegas thing. Francie definitely dies; the reveal of the Francie double involves a panning shot over to the original Francie with a bullet in her head.

For about a season and a half, yes.

Charlie Spoilers
The only reason I remember what happened with him was because he is responsible for my most despised ALIAS moment from the first 2 seasons (the best seasons). He cheats on Francie, which is what leads to their break-up. Syd finds out about it while in Vegas on a mission. Francie and Charlie decide

Anna
I always felt that Anna was all build-up and no execution. She was spoken of as someone who had to be feared and respected, which was true, but I don't ever remember anything of note that she did.

Oxyincontinent

Not according to the Fire Nation.

The Headband is crucial. It shows just how deep the propaganda/indoctrination goes in the Fire Nation, and that for a while, most kids just want to be kids. They aren't born monsters (see also: Tom Tom in Return to Omashu). Of particular importance is the history lesson about the "Air Nation" (I got an elemental

I can't believe some of the stuff this show got away with.

Also, Sozin and Azulon had radical tendencies, seeing as how they started and continued the war, committed genocide, and SPOILERS commanded Ozai to kill his son as punishment for asking to ascend to the throne rather than Iroh.

For me, it was The Storm.

Just realized I wrote "Earth Nation" instead of "Earth Kingdom." Oops.

I'm down with that.

Earth Nation island without benders. Not a threat in the eyes of the Fire Nation.

The Warriors of Kyoshi is a fine episode, but is probably not even my Top 50% bracket. If you liked this that much, you are going to LOVE what is to come.

Zhao and the Fire Nation Military
SPOILERS
When you wondered how someone like Zhao could make it in to the Fire Navy, what with his bad attitude and supervillainy tendencies, I initially thought "because he's competent." Then I stopped and thought, and realized that that probably isn't true. I mean, he's fine enough,

I'm putting this here because it was alluded to but not explained in this episode. But was there a specific work upon which Nathaniel and Isabelle was based? I know that it's supposed to be a kind of reflection of Brenda and Billy, but the first time I saw it, it made me think of A Series of Unfortunate Events. Has

See You, Space Cowboy
This remains the only (true) anime series I have ever seen and I love it to death. It took a lot of convincing and Firefly comparisons to get me to watch it, and I'm so happy I did. And that the comparisons are, in my opinion, not quite accurate. There are some similarities, but I really like
