MTV has announced that instead of 'bands' who play 'music', the stages will be filled with people from scripted reality shows bickering amongst themselves.

Sadly, i can see this becoming popular (just like 'Easy A' was) because unfortunately high school students continue to exist.

i actually caught the tail end of the S1 finale on TV this week. It looked great, although during those five minutes i clearly saw the mindblowing game-changing spoiler twist. It was already in my 'torrent this' list before i read this article, so this just reinforces it.
