Not sure why you'd assume that. Twin Cinema and Mass Romantic both got crazy press.

Any huge Destroyer fans wanna list the essential albums? I'm not sure if I've even gotten to the best stuff yet.
I like this album. I'd swap the grades with English Little League. This is much better.
I don't want to read this article because I completely disagree with the thesis.
If Tom Leykis dies soon I'll be really sad and feel like an asshole for the reason why.
Look at the comment section of last week's podmass. They can explain better than I can.
Pedantic me wants to point out that those stories were about Zappa's neighbors. There's a recording of them talking about it on The Lost Episodes.
Every time someone says I "have" to watch House of Cards, I tell them I won't until they watch The Thick of It.
I re-watched the first few episodes of Brooklyn Nine Nine tonight and I think Broad City is comparable in that they both feel insanely fully formed for American sitcoms in their first seasons.
That's standard food policy for a lot of places. I worked in a four star hotel and basically lived off the food that was going to be thrown away.
It's kinda unfortunate that this aired a day after Brooklyn Nine Nine, because that particular episode made a lot of positive changes that worked and had an elaborate mace gag that didn't land for me, and this totally showed that up.
I laughed pretty hard at this but I appreciate an honest review that isn't fawning. Sometimes this show doesn't do it for me for similar reasons (that fish fry episode had a number of great gags but the rotting fish is what stayed in my memory).
The reason the shows get compared so much is that the main casts function closer to old vaudeville than sitcom characters.
If you have headphones on you can clearly hear Kroll losing it offset during Ducca's bit.
I'm still hoping they'll release the rest of SCTV.
I liked that moment too but I honestly wouldn't be shocked if they're just putting that on the back-burner.
I pretty much always do.
If Armison could juggle Portlandia and SNL, I'm sure she could have kept going with Wild Flag. Probably band politics.
I find Portlandia realllllllly hit or miss and am completely burnt out on most of the characters.
