On one of the A Bit of a Chat interviews Lineham mentioned that the legal department told him to change the name of the social media site from MyFace, and the resulting loss of jokes from that hurt the episode quite a bit.

His claim that he was going to give up music got me to pony up and legally buy the Summah albums. I don't enjoy them quite as much as the DBS albums, but I like them more than I thought I would.
I wish there were more shorter podcasts. I'm almost caught up on all the ones I'm aware of.
Any particular reason why?
I think both this week's episodes of CBB will make my top 10 of the year.
I am glad he isn't. That's a complicated story to squish down into five minutes or so.
Invisible Monsters had a nonsensical plot twist near the end that killed it for me. I read that right before Haunted came out, and those two turned me off for good.
Wait, they re-read them? When I went thru my Chuck phase I mostly treated them as thrillers and once the surprise is gone, what's the point?
He didn't have anything left to say by the time he got to those works…
@avclub-f7697237a93c18be3fafb2cd432c6455:disqus I had realized that all his characters were the same by the second book of his I read, but that's not always a deal breaker for me. Vonnegut does the same thing, and I still enjoy his books.
Haunted was the last book of his I read. Some of the short stories were ok, but the 'novel' portions were horrid. Dismemberments every other page and an easily telegraphed 'twist.'
I wish that Hostfuls were covered on Podmass (Two Charted too) but I understand that the AVClub may think that people that listen to them are the types who are going to listen to every episode of a podcast regardless. But, I am playing catch up with podcasts as it is and can't get to every one.
I fully endorse podcasters getting on here to snark back at people saying excessively mean things.
Ventura is maybe a bit over used but yet no one but me seems to think that some of Paul F Tompkin's characters need a long hiatus. WHY IS THIS?
Never seen/heard him on anything else but I'd go see him live based entirely on how funny he's been on all his Earwolf appearances.
There are lots of comments about her in the Earwolf forum. Apparently Scott remembered her from being in the same seat at the previous year's show.
I saw that Nerdist had Whedon today… anyone wanna speak up before next week and say if it was worth a listen?
Anime is something I should know more about but it's so hard to find the good stuff.
I think more big 2 comics need to just stay within their own title. Reflect what's going on, but don't let it overwhelm it.
@avclub-61e626641b507015d1d403d2ecdd02fb:disqus I read the first Avengers trade last week and did not understand half of what happened. Is it just tied into whatever lame event comics are coming out?
