I lived in Northwest Indiana. It aired primetime on CBS.

It's late, I'm tired, and I don't want to go down the rabbit hole of chasing down more reviews, so I keep bringing up Ebert. I like Ebert and generally don't mean to besmirch him.
Chris Morris is maybe the funniest man alive. If him, Bob Odenkirk, and Ian Roberts did something together I would die a happy man.
I think Sasha Baron Cohen should have won an award for Borat. Daniel Day Lewis isn't that committed to his roles.
Yes, SNL people have made some really terrible films, but there is a world of difference between Duece Bigalow and Tommy Boy.
Tommy Boy was way after Ghostbusters. Animal House is one of the few comedies to get great reviews. Hardly ANY comedy movie starring SNL talent has gotten a good review.
How many comedies have won awards that aren't in some special 'best performance in a musical/comedy" category?
There are some logical reasons why this is so.
Comedy movies almost never get a fair shake from critics.
I'm hoping I'm not coming off like I hate the guy. I love Fantagraphics. I just find the attitude that all superhero comics are bad bewildering. Again, Dick Tracy. Great stuff, rightly revered by art cartoonists, and it's basically Batman.
Last week I excitedly texted my friend that Girls used a Daniel Johnston song from the album Fun. He thought I was talking about the band Fun and decided he was never going to watch the show because he hates them so much.
I would seriously read a track by track analysis of any record Prince Paul has done. Thank you so much for this. My favorite rap producer ever.
I haven't seen Hugo but the fact that he's in it means I will probably watch it tonight.
That part hit uncomfortably close to home for me.
Watching the third season as it aired… I never liked the show better. Rewatching it now, I just want him Jim to stay with Karen.
The only major problem is the same as the US Office. They never knew in the early days if it was going to last so they gambled on the long term storylines, and had them climax early.
Thanks for liking my comment and I'm going to assume (pretend?) that it's an understanding.
Adam Scott has been fulltime since he signed on. Season two/half of season three/end of Harvest Fest were produced as one season.
Groth is an amazing publisher that thinks that all superhero comics are terrible. I don't understand how Dick Tracy is not on par with Batman, personally.
Fantagraphics is the best book publisher ever (imho) but everything snarky said here is spot on. Love those guys, love what they do, but the scope of what they like is equatable to the superhero fan who won't read Ghost World or even old Dick Tracy strips.
