Sorry to attack you. I got into a heated debate with a person who said I was a horrible person for not identifying it as rape and it shook me. Still rankles. Apologies, honestly.

Fuck it, it's not even that since the third season was truncated. It's had a good four seasons, reasonably considered. One more won't ruin it.
Look. I don't want this show to run on too long. But it's not FIVE seasons. It's four and a quarter. Give it one more, retire.
Except that new episode directly delt with that and it's very clearly not rape at this point.
Arkham shouldn't be on there. It's not canon. Morrison said on Fatman on Batman recently that it's supposed to be Batman's worst nightmare, not something that happened to him.
You know it's probably going to be on the cover of the trade right? Either an image or a blurb. It's a marketing hook, one they can't ignore.
Most TV is pretty terrible with that mindset.
No, the whole point of it was that it could be read in whatever order you like and you might make new connections to the overall story. Morrison called it 'modular storytelling.'
@avclub-58238e9ae2dd305d79c2ebc8c1883422:disqus Those were all two-three years away.
There is at least one female commenting in this thread who did not think it was rape.
That is my second favorite episode.
I actually watched the first series again just two months ago. Thank god I can rewatch this endlessly.
That's the line that really made me crack up this time. I've seen the first series at least 5 times now, but it's jam packed with so many great lines that I inevitably forgot about some or even missed them because I was laughing too hard.
Last week people were saying that Peep Show didn't take off until the second season. I strongly disagree with that. Episode 4 is as good as anything the show has ever done.
@avclub-17642f168c28dfb8656664961cc39197:disqus I tried listening. Ten minutes of references I didn't get. Maybe one day I will listen again. I now at least know what 'the clench' means.
I have to agree with the people who replied. Saying "no no don't cum on my dress" is not the same as saying "stop." I rewatched the scene just now to make that's what she says.
They're all on Hulu too. But they took an awful long time. Youtube guy was pretty punctual.
You shouldn't assume anything has been handled the way it was in the comic. Nothing on this show is.
I listened to some of it and the intro seemed to be a lot of references to episodes I had not heard.
@avclub-17642f168c28dfb8656664961cc39197:disqus Overall energy levels seem to be more muted with repeat guests. I haven't noticed a dip in quality for the last segment, everything is just less manic.
