Nobody wants to be a hipster. Hipsters don't want to be hipsters.

@Chico: very much correct. I remember seeing Three Kings on APTN not too long ago. I was happy to watch the movie again, but what's the connection? Is Ice Cube part Ojibwae?

Maybe Hurley wants Kate to die, too.

I think Locke plays hard and fast with the rules. I may be mistaken, but didn't Locke hand Jack the backpack with the bomb? By taking it wasn't it, by Locke's logic, Jack's choice to take the bomb? I think it's well-established that Locke has a pretty easy time washing his hands of his own actions.

Even more bad-ass? Locke walks up to the Nerds, snaps one's neck, shotguns the other. Then steals the dude's fucking watch!

@Binkey:
In the first season at least, it seemed to me they were trying to make everyone's past somewhat suspect. Therefore, they made Sayid a member of the Republican Guard, with all the connotations that entails. I'm not sure a Pakistani soldier would have quite the same impact for American audiences. I get your

Locke can't blow them up. He can only manipulate circumstances so they kill each other.

I felt Marshall's pain
I also sleep next to a 1000 degree woman.

When Ted meets the mother, the show is, by design, over. Some wheel-spinning is to be expected.

Montrose A&W Root Beer

Amen to that. You could also live in Canada…

Bear in mind, Jack and Richard weren't blown up in the "russian roulette" scenario a few episodes ago, and it was implied that this was Jacob's will. I think his powers live on.

Too soon!

@Charles Widless: I'm pretty sure that bag contained Jacob's ashes that Ilana collected.
One theory: seeing Jacob's ashes gave Hurley the idea to bluff everyone with his fake Jacob-sighting.

Ham-handed or not, I think we've spent so much time with control-freak Jack over the course of the series that we need more than one scene of Zen-Jack explaining his new philosophy.

I've gotta say: I thought Desmond was really gunning for Locke in the end, there. This "near death experience" business is consistent, but at the time I took it as cold-blooded.

I'd be really, really surprised if we did not see Christian before the end of the season.

I don't think Richard can die until Jacob is done with him. After that, all bets are off.

Motherfucker does play a lot of cops (because he's tall?). Still, happy to see him working.

"Shut up everybody. Shut up, Lutz!"
