The only Disney Afternoon show I couldn't take at all was Bonkers. As a kid, it made me have rage shakes at the thought of having to watch it. Tailspin was the show, along with Rescue Rangers and Duck Tales. I even liked Goof Troop and Quack Pack.

I found that the penguin storyline worked, if only because of the crayons at the end. I watched it with my niece and both of us agreed that those were the best thing they could've gotten. I mean, gold would do exactly nothing for them.

Agreed. I read it because of course, I had to know what happened, but that was about it. Even now, I keep pushing off rereading the trilogy because I'd have to reread Mockingjay.

I had a dream this past week where it was one of those zany, madcap adventures. I don't remember much, except that there was a boatload of celebrities and I called one, and we were all BFFs, which wow. Apparently my reading AV Club before bed has paid off nicely.

I watched "Paperman" with everyone else in America, it seems, and I can definitely see how it might be too twee for some, but I loved it. I guess I was in a sappy mood.
