Doctor Detroit was the bomb as a kid. I watched it probably 10 years ago and thought "well, it's alright…"
I shall revisit no more. Best to leave fond memories lie.

He-Man? Flaming. Loserish.
She-Ra? So stupid, she forgets her name. "I am… Adora?"
But BraveStarr is the worst. I don't even remember this dreck from childhood (at least He-Man and She-Ra were at least appealing from the 'forbidden fruit' POV), and it's such an aggravating cartoon. The only thing I liked was the horse…

I picked up DuckTales on DVD and have been watching them with my 5 year old niece. They hold up surprisingly well, and the plots actually make sense. She likes them too, and I'm gonna try Rescue Rangers next.

I'm starting to think I have the opposite problem- my parents always left the tv on, and my sister and I didn't control the remote. We got to watch parent-approved cartoons and kid shows, but mostly it was what they wanted, which is why I can remember whole episodes of Matlock and In The Heat of The Night from…

My best friend growing up was a dude and super into Babysitter's Club, so we'd sit and talk about them after Bible Study. However, he's gay, and plus, he used to lie about plots to me and I believed them. I was a slow child.

I remember being super into girl book series, or failed series in general. I had so many 'collect them all!' where all didn't go above 10 that it wasn't funny. Let's see- Pee Wee Scouts, Homeroom, Lunchroom, Sunnyside Friends, Bad News Ballet were some of the shorter ones, and Junior High, Sleepover Friends,…

Knight Rider freaked me out as a kid, because I happened to see an episode that ended with KITT getting dipped in acid. Between the insta-rust and KITT's voicebox slowing down as he called "Michael!" it was too much for little me. I don't think I watched another episode without mentally preparing to run.

I think my nostalgia filter keeps me from the badness of Pooh Corner- I watched it with my niece recently and enjoyed it. Calliope annoyed me even as a kid, along with 95% of the cast of Dumbo's Circus (pretty sure that Dumbo annoyed me the most) so that's a nonstarter.

I don't see what basesball has to do with anything! (throws a ball wimpily)

Y'know, I always wondered about that too. Obviously the Look Who's Talking series was appreciated in my house.

I remember the James role was played by Scott Baio (recast?) because he was trying to tell the Kirstie Alley woman that he loved her, and said "Let me count the ways". 2nd was her mind, and 4th was her behind. The utter height of humor for smaller me.
