Yeesh. This makes me miss the good old days when rich girls just got a pony or a nose job for their birthdays, and maybe studied Russian literature or fashion design in New York or something. Why do we have to keep hearing about this girl?

There is indeed a Trader Joe's here in Omaha. The novelty wears off pretty quickly, and it's in the Regency area, where many people apparently don't have to work, so it's always a pain in the ass to shop there. But then again, it may be a hassle to get to Pamida so, you know, six of one, a half dozen of the other.
Maybe we can team up on this one:
It probably is. There are some similar gems on the Amazon reviews for Drive. It's kind of amazing how some people won't even acknowledge their accountability to be informed.
@wolfmansRazor Yeah, I've got that one. Corpsegrinder's neck might even surpass Corey Taylor's. I came away with a lot of respect for Pat O'Brien, too. He seemed to have that surly, uncompromising metal guitarist vibe that Kerry King and Mick Thompson had, but has since mellowed out. This DVD also has the infamous…
I can understand this. I live in Omaha and have met many, many people of the "I love any movie with Will Ferrell or Adam Sandler" persuasion.
That's a surprisingly good documentary. I'm a huge CC fan myself, but even my wife liked it and gained a respect for their musicianship as well as the relentless touring bands like CC have to do to make a living.
I agree, but I also think there's something to be said for small crews and short schedules. There's less time to overthink things and start second guessing yourself, and there's less people adding their input and pulling the film in different directions, making it unfocused ("A camel is a horse designed by a…
I agree. I thought the astral projection stuff was silly and the movie would be a lot better if the characters and the audience never got a full explanation of the haunting. That would've given it an air of mystery and unpredictability that would have made it a lot scarier.
I see where he's coming from in his disappointment with being forced into smaller budgets for his horror movies, but some of the best horror films have miniscule budgets. Sure, there are some great horror films with larger budgets (The Shining, Alien, The Thing, An American Werewolf In London), but there are also some…
I actually dug Insidious. It's not a great film. It's not even a great horror film, but I had fun seeing it in a theater with a decent crowd, and it does deliver a little bit of creepiness.
She's running around all over La Place!!!
Friday The 13th………is when I think they scheduled my cataract surgery…..
This fall, see Al Pacino in…….
Don't forget Old People Westerns, where they just kind of sit around and bitch about the restaurant tax.
Louis, Louis, You're gonna die-eye!!!
It does kind of throw the door wide open for hacks.
@avclub-2bc89f96d5af36cd7c598b934297491f:disqus I had a jacket like that once, but I got Skyline chili on it and ruined it.
Haven't your heard? Terrible is the new good!
I just got the RoboCop Criterion Collection DVD and it's pretty great but it's in 1:66:1, so it doesn't fill my screen.
