I appreciated it more in hindsight once I realized how awful Pennsatucky was.

Trying to keep my expectations for Hesitation Marks reasonable, but I'm afraid I'm going to expect too much, and be a little let down.

The actual order is constantly changing, but here's a rough estimate:

Glad to see the AVC finally giving the Milk Music album some credit, even though it wasn't reviewed here.  One of my favorite albums of the year so far.

@avclub-0f0d67e214f9fef69b278e3d08114da9:disqus  At this point, the only reason I even post anything about Wussy is to taunt you.  :)  Just kidding.  It's just one of the few perks here, musically-speaking.

Saw Wussy, the best band in Cincinnati—and in my opinion, one of the best bands currently around—play a free show on Friday night.  Good times.

I have to think the the minimum security prison she is in would differ from all the horrific depictions of prison (usually tough, maximum security ones) we're used to seeing in movies and on TV.  These are going to be nonviolent criminals in for things like minor drug charges, so it makes sense that some inmates might

Went to the Bunbury Festival last night to see Belle & Sebastian, Yo La Tengo, and, best of all, The National.  Other than a little rain that delayed and shortened YLT's set, it was awesome.  B&S were very upbeat and fun.  And of course, The National burned the house down to close things out.  I've seen them three

I agree.  It's a fine song, at least until it wears out it's welcome.

Is it still on Netflix?  I thought it had expired.

Well said.

The "BORT" license plate on the back is a great touch.

I bought a used copy of Battle Cry of Freedom last month, but may not get to it for awhile.  I hear great things, though.

Finished reading both Band of Brothers and the 33 1/3 series entry on David Bowie's "Low" album.  BoB was a good pop history book, and Low was maybe the best entry into the 33 1/3 series that I've read (although it's only the fourth or fifth one).  A really nice overview of the entire recording process, and Bowie's
