Ted Leo is a great live performer.  Very charismatic and fun to watch.  He and his band put on a heck of a show every time I've seen them.

If only Brian Jacques had long sections talking about different animals' sigils, then Martin's long descriptions of those would have gone easier as well.

Oh man, I loved the Redwall books.  I would bet that the first 7 or 8 still hold up (and I just looked on Wikipedia, and I think I read the first 11), but after a point they all were nearly the same.

I was never into Carmen, but I was into plenty of others.  DC Talk and Newsboys were two of the biggest.  Also some metal band called Tourniquet.  I can't remember some of the other bands, and honestly I don't feel like trying very hard.

There are far too many people my age who still remember this show fondly.  I won't pretend I didn't watch it as a kid, but at least I can realize in hindsight how terrible it was.

Sorry to say I was a huge fan of that show as a kid.  But you're right, basically everything about that show was awful.
