It's awesome, and it gets better and better as it goes.

I haven't watched this week's two episodes, but I have to say the general awfulness of Phil is turning me off of the show. I'll stick with it to the end of the season because I still find the premise interesting, but after that I dunno. It's like, if you're gonna have a protagonist who turns out to be that unlikable,

Yes. It took them awhile to pull him out of the depression spiral but he's been back to regular Nick since at least the beginning of the calendar year.

I gave up about halfway through season 3, but jumped back in at the beginning of season 4 to give them one more chance. It has been consistently back on track this year and a lot of fun.

I only picked up Transatlancticism in the wake of loving The Postal Service album. It was a pretty good record, but I never felt the need to continue with Death Cab beyond that.

Yeah, there were a handful of stories that I really, really liked (Civil Twilight comes immediately to mind), but also a couple terrible ones (as Sam linked to above). And boy was that framing story just the worst.

Lullaby got me started on never reading another Chuck Palahniuk book. Great premise quickly ruined by four intensely unlikable characters who get worse as the book goes on. Then, the worst parts of Haunted finished me on never reading another Palahniuk book.

Man, I know he had been out of the public eye for awhile at the time, but when Chevy Chase showed up on Community, it was definitely a sudden old man moment for me. Also, Bill Murray in Rushmore.

Yeah, Tom Cruise, regardless of his personal life, still makes pretty good picks when it comes to movies. Edge of Tomorrow was great, and even his less-good flicks over the past decade have still been entertaining.

The wide release isn't happening until March 27…

Pontypool was a fascinating movie that I thought fell short of great because it was hemmed in by its micro-budget and the difficulty level of explaining its premise.

She is more complicated than any single traditional movie monster.

"Funky Cold Medina" was the second Tone-Loc single, released after "Wild Thang" was already a huge hit.

I'm partial to You Will Go to the Moon, personally. But boy they were a great fucking band.

Boy did I hate Groove is in the Heart when it was out. And I didn't even have a childhood trauma story to justify it. Just hated, hated, hated the song. 25 years later, it doesn't seem all that bad.

They sure did.

No kidding! "That's it. You're caught."

I had the same reaction. Not a mention of that album or even any individual songs from it in the actual article.

Yes it is. I think I'll be watching it much like I did last summer, which is skipping all of the Regional Prelim episodes and then checking back in when they start the Regional Finals. Because 2 hours a week of watching people try to climb the Warped Wall is too much even for me.
