I'll defend Reel Big Fish to a point (that point is roughly 2006, after the release of their double live album), and it seems like Clayton and Sean are confusing the Keep Your Receipt EP with the band's actual album Turn the Radio Off.

Nada Surf went on to be an indie-pop darling and Let Go is one of my favorite albums (Top 20, at least) of the 00's.

Nothing Sugar Ray ever did lived up to the goofy aggro fun of their very first single "Mean Machine".

The Brown Album was the first Primus record without Tim Alexander on drums and having Brian Mantia instead definitely changed their approach.

I read Addicted to Noise pretty religiously during those days to keep up with music news. You guys did great work back then.

Hold on a minute. Snuff were a lot of fun. While everybody else with horns and keyboards were doing ska in the 90's, Snuff just layered organ and trombone over full-on punk. Plus the heavily-accented, incomprehensible vocals were just charming.

Agreed on every count about Survival of the Fattest. That and Short Music were the best.

And then Hitfix was absorbed by Uproxx and Keith Phipps became their managing editor and you know, it's actually been a little better than in the final days of Hitfix.

Maybe the headline here isn't that he pronounces it with three syllables, but that, like "ChEYEEEna", he pronounces the word with an incorrect vowel sound. In this case a long "e" instead of a short "i" in the first syllable. "Beellions"

I'm from the USA and I think it has three syllables, too.
