Ignaty seems to appreciate Twohy's skills as a B-movie suspense specialist, so this is exactly the sort of positive review I was hoping to see for this movie. A Perfect Getaway is really underrated and kind of great.

Yes it is. I revisited it a couple of weeks ago and it holds up quite well. Some of Twohy's directorial flourishes are very much from the year 2000, but mostly it's a solid action-horror B-movie with a great premise. It's way more focused than Chronicles and a lot more fun.

Also, they have hilarious banter onstage together.

This album has a ton of great lyrical turns of phrase, as always with Neko. My early favorite:

The other thing about the Twins that I just love,
And this is kind of what I love about Minneapolis in general,
Is that it seems accessible.
You go and you can live in New York and there’s the Met and the MoMA,
But you somehow only get there once every few years.
In Minneapolis, there’s the Walker Art Center that I’d

That's it exactly.

Obligatory music-grammar nerd post:

Also, Jonathan Nolan has hit a home run with Person of Interest, so I'll at least give this a shot.

At first I was very confused that this article was sourced to something called Blue Sky Disney. I was like, "Wait, when did Disney buy up the animation studio that made the Ice Age movies, Horton Hears a Who, Robots, and Rio?"

@avclub-d4c5630db0ec3444ec43c0982a9e83d3:disqus  As a dude, I'm with you, at least in regards to Maid Marion.

Sanders also did a really good job with a relatively pedestrian premise on The Croods, which is taking a lot of shit it doesn't deserve.

The only Death Cab album I ever bought, because I was looking for something more after getting The Postal Service album. Transatlanticism is no Give Up, but it at least has "The New Year" and "The Sound of Settling".

I read these reviews because I gave up after episode 6 but still want to find out just how dumb/crazy they get here at season's end. And also to continue shaking my head and Brian K. Vaughan's sudden inability to tell a story.

First American Movie reference in the thread. Well done.

I mean, that's why we have Tim Minear on board, right? He takes the insanity and stupidity of Murphy's recycled ideas and translates them into watchable television.

Sadly, he's got a full time gig on the CBS show Hostages this fall so the best we can hope for is another guest stint.

Or "I Put a Spell on You" complete with Screamin' Jay Hawkins' vocal effluvia.

It really, really was.

Hey, at least he didn't break character and start laughing!
