Sometime between when Cabin in the Woods was filmed and now.

@avclub-ca4fc44a59d0201cc7d4f760153cb00c:disqus  The show was pretty uneven, but that sound guy episode was amazing, I agree. I also dug the Star Door one.

Hell, I'd gladly take an extra story every week if they stopped using 3-4 minutes of show time to give us "coming up on Drunk History" teases.

Yes it was, I laughed so damn hard at that.

I wouldn't go that far, although he definitely isn't doing good work these days. I mean, this is the guy who wrote "When I Fall" and as recently as '06 wrote "Bank Job." Although Page's name is on just about every one of Ed's songs as a co-writer.

If studios are no longer making actual film prints to send out to theaters as of 2014 is there still an advantage to shooting on film, though?

"Odds Are" is the only song I really, truly like off of Grinning Streak, because the rest of it is so generic. The backing music of that song makes it sound like they should've called up Taylor Swift and given it to her. They would've made millions and millions on the royalties.

Their new album, Grinning Streak, is worse than All in Good Time. That album wasn't good by any means, but at least the guys were trying to pick up the slack after Steven left, even if they failed pretty badly. Grinning Streak feels like they're all just punching the clock. "Well, we need to go on tour again and we

Having Tyler sing "Alcohol" works just fine because that's a song that's just fun no matter who is singing it. But having Kevin take over on pretty much anything Steve used to sing is essentially deadly to the song. Kevin's voice is the polar opposite of Steve's. He's an okay singer, but he's wimpy to the extreme,

Yeah, I saw them a couple of years ago after seeing them probably 7-8 times during the heyday. There's no comparison. Not only are the Steven songs (particularly the slow and mid-tempo ones that relied on his voice) really weird with Ed or Kevin singing them, but they don't have the same chemistry at all anymore. Ed

Maybe You Should Drive is a really strong album songwriting-wise that still sounds overproduced and super high-gloss and that's too bad.

Kevin sang that song live when I saw them a few years ago.

You know what, Harvey? Put those 20 minutes you requested cut out of Snowpiercer back into the film before it's released in North America, and I'll keep your spoiler secrets.

When I saw them in '09 they did their "pull a kid from the audience and let him play guitar" bit with "Jesus of Suburbia" and he absolutely nailed the whole song. It was way more impressive than when they used to pull three people out of the audience and teach them to play Op Ivy's "Knowledge".

I've tolerated Bradley Cooper ever since "1 in 5, bitch!"

Yes, it's exactly that, as stated by Felix (or maybe Crispian in his final speech) during the movie. Just like Erin was intended to be the surviving witness who could corroborate the "random attackers" story.

I should just go turn on my copy of Rock Band (2? 3?) and do the vocals for the song and see what they say the lyrics are, but that would require a lot of effort.

So I assume, then, that you've been hate-watching all of the episodes just so you can speak with authority as to its quality level?

The drive-in near me (about 45 minutes northwest of Houston) stays open all year.
