I used to watch his stuff a lot. His Sequelitis videos are pretty great, but he only makes like one a year.

Based on your examples, it seems firmly rooted in '60s genre television.

Say whaaa? Lost was always really good at winking at itself. They had their self-serious moments, but there was plenty of humor. Maybe you're confusing Lost with the later seasons of Battlestar Galactica.

The whole first season, I think. The exterminator truck didn't start changing 'til season two.

It's probably too violent a sport for Nintendo to let the Mario gang play. They nixed a Mario wrestling game a couple years back.

Market research shows people love monkeys.

I forgot about Red Eye. That was a cool fucking movie, and so simple.

Nightmare is a great movie. So is Scream. He also made Music of the Heart for some reason. Sweet dreams, Wes.

I'm certain you know the Chariots of Fire theme too.

A few people, like Jason Woodrue and the Arkham guards, but they're all killed by Ivy, not Batman. And I guess Robin and Batgirl kind of leave Bane for dead, but again, not Batman.

Or "G.R.O.S.S."

I was just watching Frasier today and wondering what Roz has been up to. Now I'm sad.

Those guys kind of bug me, actually. Them and Cinemasins. There's just so much cynicism that comes with nitpicking movies, especially pretty good ones.

I thought Renner was fun in Rogue Nation. I'd watch a buddy cop movie starring him and Ving Rhames.

Well, it was no Hemlock Grove.

This was such a pleasant surprise today. This was always my favorite feature on this site.

Isn't, like, Vin Diesel really into D&D and not shy about it? You'd think he'd be some kind of role model for that whole fandom. They probably all hate him, though.

Just about everyone in my high school liked Lord of the Rings and Matrix and Spider-Man when those movies were released. Band geeks, jocks, didn't matter. Cool movies are cool movies, and I think everyone got that.

Reminds me of an old Conan interview with Natalie Portman. He was giving her a hard time for being in Star Wars, and making fun of Star Wars fans, and she was able to toss it right back at him when he admitted to being obsessed with the Civil War. "What makes that better?"

Good kid and family movies from the mid-to-late 70s aside from Willy Wonka? Charlotte's Web, The Rescuers, Pete's Dragon, The Muppet Movie and at least a couple of the Pink Panther movies off the top of my head.
