There's a scene in the first or second season where Don dismissively brings up a coffee company using puppets in their ads, which to me was a clear reference to Jim Henson's commercials for Wilkins in the early 60s. We never see the ads ourselves, but it's a clear nod to a real campaign from the time.

There's a stable with a few cows. And they must have at least two horses, because you race Ingo. He probably just keeps his locked up and only lets Epona run free.

Star Fox motion simulator.

They fought each other on Celebrity Deathmatch like ten years ago, during the first revival. I think they made the joke first, or at least it was the first time I heard it.

And a real hero.

Get better, Joni. You're one of the genuine greats. If you go, can you see… can you see… can you see how it would hurt me, baby?

Life is kind of cool sometimes.

Well, never mind then I guess.

There's a lot of comments so I'm not checking, but has anyone taken a stab at what four episodes were teased for tomorrow?

Seinfeld started right around that time, too.

It's got some sweet kung fu fights and it doesn't take itself too seriously. I've always had a soft spot for that movie.

A dear friend of mine showed me Over the Garden Wall about a week ago. I took four things away from it.

Birdman, Guardians of the Galaxy (SO MUCH FUN), Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Over the Garden Wall. I loved these thing soooooo much and would show them to anyone. Also, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze because Donkey Kong Country is always fucking rad.

Well, really, Batman and Robin vs. Joker and Harley. I'd be totally down for that movie. And with a cast as interesting as Affleck, Malone, Leto and Robbie to boot.

I don't think he regretted turning down Matrix, though. He always used to say something about how Keanu was born to play that part and the movie wouldn't have worked if he had played Neo.

I like Sonic Adventure and Sonic Colors. The aesthetics help, sure, but I never found either to be bad games. Adventure hasn't aged super gracefully or anything, but it's pretty solid for a first stab at 3D Sonic in 1998. And Colors was a lot of fun.

Once again, it appears I'm the only one on Earth who liked How I Met Your Mother's finale. But then, I also liked Lost's finale and found Breaking Bad's to be a letdown so I guess I'm just an idiot or something.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this movie. These trailers make it pretty clear that it's being made with a lot of love, anyway.

I've always been a fan of "Homer, we have to do something. Today he's drinking blood, tomorrow he could be smoking!"
