It WAS nice, however, to see a few of Bart's "Twister Mouths" for the first time in decades.

I liked that Tracey Ullman Lisa didn't say anything except for an offscreen, "Yeah, Bart" during the portrait tag at the end. I actually thought it was a pretty clever nod to the fact that Lisa didn't really do much in the old shorts except egg on Bart.
That was rough. She could barely keep it together at all.
Roz and Calvin departed on good terms. Her last appearance was the one where she plays Calvinball and actually gets Calvin to bed on time without incident.
That honestly sounds more like a joke Simpsons would do, given their "Next Time in Mad Men" riff last season.
Yes. Yesyesyes.
The final twenty minutes or so of Twin Peaks is probably the most terrifying thing I've ever seen on TV. Totally worth getting to that point.
She's a stereotype, sure, but she's never the butt of any jokes.
Near as I can tell, "Holidays of Future Past" is the only flash-forward episode that actually purports to be canon. All the others, including "Lisa's Wedding," were stories told by fortune-tellers and whatnot. "Holidays" just straight-up says 20 Years Later… in the opening.
It's remarkable how much more appealing The Simpsons' characters were, even with more Family Guy-esque dialog coming out of their mouths.
This is why I'm glad Nintendo is still doing their own thing. Just look at E3. With PlayStation and Xbox having their big press conference pissing contest (full of really good-looking games, it should be said), Nintendo was off announcing Splatoon, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Yoshi's Wooly World and Captain Toad…
What's extra frustrating is that the one game that was kind of okay, Knuckles' Chaotix, is like the only Sonic game Sega hasn't spent the last decade two decades slapping onto every single compilation disc it can get away with selling. There was no reason that game wasn't paired with Sonic CD on the so called Sonic…
I disagree, I think it's just terrible and it's one of the only movies I truly hate. I won't go into it all here, because apparently that makes me a buzzkill at parties, but that movie is bullshit and I wish it would just go away and people my age would stop pretending it was anything other than a super cynical cash…
Holy shit it is. I will never be able to unhear this now.
People who refuse to dig deeper. It drives me crazy. What I mean is, say you kind of like music, and you're favorite band is Arcade Fire. You don't know a lot about older rock, so I say, "Hey, if you like Arcade Fire, you'd probably really like David Bowie. He was a pretty big influence on them."
RPD from Resident Evil 2 would be cool. I always thought it was creepier and more atmospheric than the mansion from the first game.
This isn't your complaint, but it brought to mind for me the people who complain that Nintendo makes a lot of Mario games. I don't get it. It's like complaining that DC is still publishing Batman comics.
Sounds like a fun double feature. I'm in!
How has this title not been used for a slasher movie until now? That's the most shocking thing to me.
Sounds like it had a happy ending for someone.
