He may have just been pouring over the film and feeling like something wasn't right and that Morton's voice didn't fit his vision for the project.

What the fuck is up with all these people praising Frances Ha so highly? The Dissolve had it way up there too. Like, it's a good movie but it's maybe like the 30th best of 2013 alone.

Honeymoon Killers is SO fucking good it's unfair to the rest of us peons.

Donnie Darko being a red flag is something I've been saying for years. It's one thing if somebody likes the movie, but if you ever meet anyone who says it's their favorite movie of all time then fucking run and never look back.

And then Tumblr collapsed in on itself.

So from my understanding, this is the Burn After Reading of internet activism.

I first watched World's Greatest Dad years ago and loved it. Rewatched it recently before this was posted. But I did just see the trailer for the first time and I kind of love that it makes it looks like a shitty comedy about a guy with an obnoxious son. The problem is that the movie looks bland and unfunny. But

Quite tragically, Dear Zachary falls into this category. That movie will wreck your shit like nothing else.

Night of the Living Dead. Midnight screening. 35mm. That's all I need in life.

But where is Mouth Sounds!?

Pet Sounds

I think he means that Edgar Wright will explain the situation in the future. Likely, he's under contract still and can't disclose any details about the film until after it's release. But I'm willing to bet he'll be more than happy to spill details after the non-disclosure agreement ends.

The "not showing the robbery" thing is pretty old. Gun Crazy did it, although filled the time with a conversation with a cop.

It was a tight year though. Besides, the bigger snub was Michael B. Jordan for Fruitvale Station.

They needed a fluffer for it.

That sucks because this was seriously a great year for movies. If you've got Netflix and can possibly find the time then Act of Killing is streaming now.

I think it was actually over The Blind Side getting in. Which, The Blind Side shouldn't have even been close enough to sneak in like that, so good riddance.

I really did not like Rubber, but Wrong looked good. Well, I watched Wrong and it was also pretty damn bad, like a desperate attempt at making a Charlie Kaufman film. Yet somehow, I still want to see Wrong Cops. I feel like I never learn.

"Plot holes" are the dumbest, most superficial excuse to dislike something anyway. Time After Time rules and who gives a shit if the plot's a bit wonky?

Isn't Psycho II kind of a cult favorite by some standards? It's been on my list for awhile now.
