I think wordlessly going through their grim work lends this show more authenticity, even if it is not very entertaining. It also makes the sudden violence when the young agent gets exposed to the virus that much more jarring.

If they can ever take a break from almost killing nearly everybody on the show and exposing all plots and upending the few survivors' lives forever, I would like to see a few episodes dedicated to flashbacks of Stan's undercover stint with the neo-Nazis.

Just curious if they make any effort to explain how Kong came about, like was he a normal ape that got bitten by a radioactive spider or is he the last of his kind and there are giant ape bones from his ancestors all over the place? It's always bugged me that not even the modern versions made any effort toward a

If the Alexandria of this show resembled the actual Alexandria (where I live), I would be all for this theory, but you have to drive at least another 90-120 minutes outside DC to get that level of rural or locate any sizable junkyard.

It would be the best way to kill Rick, similar to how Omar died on The Wire. Omar had an earned, mythic reputation on that show and went out in a random, nonthreatening encounter that totally reinforced the daily danger of his situation. On TWD that move would at least garner some critical respect for the first time

yeah but schools are conveniently located and accessible from main roads, even in rural areas, and they are obvious early targets for looting.

I watch this show reluctantly with my son and we both agreed it would be awesome if the flying sword beheaded Micchone, and afterward were hoping that when she flung herself into his arms after the battle she accidentally ran him through with that sword. Alas, neither.

I think one of the first places you would loot would be high schools because they have lots of food, accessible but securable buildings, large working kitchens, and they are easy to find because they are located close to population centers with good road access. If it has a decent fence a high school is not a bad place

Much like the Republican Party.

I get that they hold some despicable views and were spreading bullshit outside of the show, but the show itself seemed like a pretty typical troupe comedy sketch show for Adult Swim. I didn't pick up any point of view at all and I was really surprised when Brett Gellman quit AS over it.

Archmage, that is some of your finest work, and that is saying a lot.

The Archmage has always been universally beloved here.

Yeah, shoot man. Even dead and full of holes, you can still boot them up and interrogate them.

The original movie has absolutely no plot, no story arc, no consistent theme other than "technology can really turn on ya." Its all about the guests marveling at the amenities until the amenities kill them, the end.

The movie was a goof that is enjoyable if you have made peace with weird 70s moviemaking styles, and the tape machines, crt screens and survival of 70s fashions were hilariously off the mark.

The Leftovers reviews were unreadable until they got rid of the original reviewer after a robot (commentariat) uprising. Zack's points aren't bad but they don't ruin the experience as he suggests (and then he gives it a B+ lol).

Zack, you reviewed both Westworld (mindblowing finale, near perfect) and Walking Dead (another poorly written, unevenly acted timekiller episode) and gave them the same grade. I don't even know what to do with you, man.

Came here to say this. I always expect him to subvert whatever the premise is with some Brett Gelmaning.

I think most people conclude that Avery likely did it, maybe with others, but definitely not in the place and manner that prosecutors say he did. The prosecution had a weak case so they planted a lot of evidence closer to Avery's home and coerced a false confession from Dassey to seal up the conviction. Avery (like
