I went there in the early days too, and the only screening system for undesirables seemed to be the fact that there was no sign and it was hard to find. It's still like that, but everybody just knows where it is.

It's pretty easy to tell the beaureaucrats and lobbyists apart from the rest of D.C. The beaureaucrats have had 70% of their lifeforce sucked out of them, and the lobbyists appear to be overdosing on the stuff.

The Life is Hell compilation books really hold up (Work is Hell, School is Hell, Love is Hell, Childhood is Hell). I have them, but I haven't seen them in print in a long time. If you have a chance to pick them up you should.
