The guy was a natural comedian, in the sense that he probably didn't even realise how fucking funny he was just in regular conversation. When he tells the story about Darryl Stingley, holy shit it makes me smile even just thinking about it.

They weren't terrible but they seemed to miss a lot of things, and I got the feeling the author had more or less made up his mind that this show sucks and chose the evidence that fit. So maybe it was a meta-commentary on modern day politics, in which case it was genius.
