For the record, I sure hope this isn't the first comment, because that was not an attempted firstie.

Three Years Later
I loved it when BSG did "One Year Later", and I loved "Three Years Later" on Lost this week.
Bill at gunpoint?
Why did Jack hold Bill at gunpoint?
Thesis:
Dollhouse is the anti-Quantum Leap.
Looking up
BSG has always has always told two kinds of stories:
I haven't yet seen the movie, but I find the picture disturbing. How is it that 1994 Kate Winslet looks identical to 2009 Kate Winslet? Not just the same person, but the same age. She's beautiful, but that's weird.
Suffering
The writers sure punish Locke, physically and mentally, episode after episode. I'm all for tragic figures, but I really hope he gets at least one pure moment of triumph.
I dunno.. he seemed pretty remorseful.
Sergei Bodrov's "Mongol" is a pretty good Genghis Kahn origin film.
I watched "King Arthur" in theaters.
A lot of Transformer is incredible (Walk on the Wild Side, Perfect Day, Satellite of Love, etc), but a couple songs are virtually unlistenable.
And for the aspiring geeks, http://www.5years.com/ is a ridiculously comprehensive guide to the Ziggy Stardust album.
If you're going to get the Ziggy Stardust album, get the extended version with bonus material.
I liked how they handled the powers in this episode. In the Heroes world most of the powers are pretty useless on their own, so it works when they force people to team up.
Speaking of Mary Walsh, anyone notice that the new president on 24 sounds exactly like her? It's unnerving.
I'm Canadian, so I can answer this one with some authority.
Lori Petty
America's Sweetheart!
I'll add New Wave (music) to the list. It's easily mocked, but a musical genre with surprising depth and continued influence.
