No sir, that was just a bunch of session guys if I remember correctly. I meant the LP.

Give the title track from 5150 a try. Uses Hagar's vocal range well, without a big sappy chorus.

There's your uneven alchemy, right there! Bands have tried to have a virtuosic bassist and guitarist, with mixed results. DLR's first solo album had Billy Sheehan and Steve Vai, and while I liked it, I felt the arrangements were way too busy.

It's catchier than the chorus.

Yeah, I sing for fun (but take it very seriously), and he totally crushes my self-esteem. What a voice.

It's group-think. A couple of tastemakers say something about a topic that maybe most folks aren't familiar with, and it's a lot easier to go along with it.

Agreed. It wasn't an embarassment at all - it was what most rock vocal sounds like exposed outside of a mix. He does so many extraneous yelps and adlibs that seem weird on their own, but so do a lot of good singers. Can you imagine a Michael Jackson vocal with no rhythm section?

That must have been a Jenny Wade-alike, since IMDB does not have any record of her. There was a substitute actress (my wife watches this), but I would have remembered it being her.

We ought to only post about things we like? That would give folks reading these boards a pretty skewed sense of the general consensus.

There needs to be some sort of standardization of letter grades across the reviews. Otherwise the review indicates this is one of the best things on recently. It sure as hell isn't.

The Scarlet Witch/Vision interaction in AvsX 0 doesn't seem consistent with the "point" issue of Avengers recently where Vision goes looking for her. In Avengers he travels to Utopia and almost throws down with Magneto in a bid to find where she's gone, then in AvsX he sends her away angrily. Did I miss something?

It was not a classic by any measure, but I liked it. The characters were mostly likeable and had goals that made you pull for them. That's better than what other middle-tier sitcoms from that era were doing.

Not until you learn respect for your elders.

I think it's actually improved since the cast change. It's as if the transition was seen as an opportunity to recalibrate a little. The characters are generally less loathsome, and the women get to deliver the occasional punchline (as opposed to continually being the target of frat house-style humor). It's still the

Well, sure. Seeing a trailer can leave you with that impression…

JB joining 'Til Death was like adding Poochy to the Itchy and Scratchy
Show. He was suddenly ubiquitous, and the tonal shift was jarring (from
bland and disposable to really dumb). It seemed desperate at the time,
but was nothing compared to the weirdness that followed. Too bad this
interview didn't get more from him

The "collective luggage"?
Methinks one of Big Boi's hangers-on is going to take the blame…
