They should go with ball and socket joints for shoulders and hips more often. Usually the stiffer, less articulated figures make up for it with better sculpting, but that just looks bad.

I've never heard of them as being influential, at least not more than what longevity ultimately imparts on most musicians. It's an adjective that does not require quantification, so it gets thrown around a lot.

My comment above was that looking through previous inductees is going to reveal something that bothers Téodor Orezscu more than Steve Miller band. Mine is Gladys Knight, and like I also noted above, your mileage may vary.
