I don't think it's about Routh at all. Regardless of whether or not he was an asset in Superman Returns, this is a reboot. The who business with Superman's super-child pretty much demanded a fresh start.

I'm used to silly paydays for real actors and atheletes, because usually it's commensurate to what they in turn earn for other people, either through ticket sales or whatever.

The small scenes in Louie with either Norton or Nick Dipaolo make me cringe.

What was with the whole "dressed as a cop, stumbles across a hold-up" thing last week? It was like something from a conventional sit-com. I was waiting for it to play out in some unexpected way, but it just sort of petered out.

McFarlane is the king of comics people buy without reading and toys adults buy without taking out of the original package. As a creator he's aweful, but as a business man…

Parents of young kids would still be too young to remember Yogi Bear. I have kids and I barely remember watching it *ever*.

No sure who the audience for this is.
I don't think kids even know who Yogi Bear is.

Seems like a move that would work better for someone who had any body mass to speak of.

@Nipples ; Season 3 of the WW series had the best costume. They did more of a french-cut on the briefs, which was lot nicer than the diaper-look from before.

Is this such a well known story that it needs to be remade?
I saw it at least once, and can't recall what it was about. The only reason it doesn't bleed into my recollections of other fantasy films is the rotoscoping. If the remake was trying to re-use that technique, maybe that would be noteworthy.

Whether she was 16 or 17, it matters not. Perving out to her is the normal and biologically mandated reaction. It's hard-wired into you - the best you can do is not get caught leering in real-life, and never act upon it.

Did Conan O'Brien ever do an "If they Mated" of Bruce and Demi?

I'm hoping a Heckle and Jeckle cartoon isn't far behind…
that is my entire thought.

That's exactly how I feel about PetSmart. I aint paying for no kibble, goddammit.

so many typos.

Drag Race is seems unreal and ultra-real at the same time
I saw a TV listing describing it as "the search for the next great drag queen". Of all of the competition shows on TV, this seems the most honest. You're not really going to be a top model, or celebrity chef, but maybe - just maybe - the fifteen minutes of fame

L&O is a better than what I expected they would fill the void with. I would have bet anything that we were going to get five nights of Dateline. It's cheap to produce, and as lurid as they want it to be.

It's not like America decided they don't like his stand-up act - the show was just so much worse.

MARINE 2 : Hard Corps

The Marine Too?
