time for you to die for all our firsting sins

I wouldn't mind an Unbreakable sequel either… the original had a great premise only slightly tainted by slow as molasses pacing. But what would be the great twist….?

I unironically concur.

I was struggling for a Dead Alive or Feebles attempt, but failed… nice ones Ack Ack

@Bucky: yeah, the more I think of it, the more a Monsters sequel could work. Especially with the huge change in the monster world at the end of the first one.

Newcastle guy has been replaced by a Sasquatch that breaks my computer monitor. I don't know whether to weep or rejoice…

Human Centipede begs to differ… sort of. I'm not brave enough to find out if it warrants that C-

Ponyo was good in that it had Tina Fey and Liam Neeson and some incredible visuals… but the story and pacing were a mess and it ended on a completely anticlimactic note.

Pixar isn't selling out, I'm sure, but Disney's influence seems to slowly be creeping in. If you read the Pixar wiki page, there's a lot of stuff about how Disney threatened to make its own sequels unless Pixar cooperated and made them itself.

Ghibli is great, but I think Pixar bests them on occasion. Ponyo, for example, was a bit weak.

Slayer and Pixar love in one person… you sir, are a walking contradiction

Commentary Tracks of the Damned?

ok, we're all going to end up doing this sooner or later:

This thread made me guffaw at work… but at least I'm on my lunch break….

Barney isn't a cartoon, you moron.

My 2 year old daughter watches Monsters Inc literally every day, god bless her.

this story makes me incredibly sad

Stepbrothers was a joke

The endless Door chase in Monsters was the one thing I didn't like about it.

Glad someone mentioned this… I was surprised that neither the new Devo nor Sarah MacLachlan got a review. granted they're both pretty mainstream, but the Devo has decent reveiws on Metacritic.
