SMAX SMAX SMAX SMAX SMAX

Maybe they're waiting for the iTunes visualizer to catch up to Rock Band graphically. As people.

The Disney Afternoon compilation CD was my favorite album as a kid.

The unicycle was part of him, right? I wouldn't presume to know whether that constitutes "riding" a unicycle or not.

Agreed. Too bad he's not in 300.

He'll always be The Cat in the Hat to me. Remember that TV special?

See Saboteur! Not my insight, but in many ways it's a proto-Raiders. Good stuff.

This is my least favorite AV Club comment of all time.

I wanna litigate you so bad my dick's hard!

This is just bizarre.

I don't think the "popular = great" argument is a bandwagon fallacy, at least not all the time. I think there IS an argument to be made that when something resonates with a lot of people, it does have some kind of value. Now, I would never apply this argument to something like Celine Dion, but how about another

Unfortunately no I haven't gotten to see the doc yet. But I can say that the Chabrol version doesn't have any experimental camera tricks or anything like that. I don't know how similar the plots are, but I assume they're close.

"There was no reason to make that a poem" - AV Club comment of the week.

Anyone seen the Chabrol version?
Claude Chabrol directed this script in the 80s (the same story, anyway), but in a much more conventional fashion. It's a pretty good movie.

Something very charming
about these British WWII thrillers. Anybody seen Contraband? It's by Michael Powell and it stars Conrad Vedit. It's good. This looks like pretty much the same kind of thing.

Am I alone on this?
I find this weirdly haunting and disturbing. I suspect more would feel the same if we didn't all know and love The Room.

Wait, they were shot at the same time, but with different directors? How does that work?

Did ANYONE on the staff like it?
I had a great time at a midnight show last night, so this response is kind of baffling to me. Any dissenters?

Wow, disagree.
I went to a midnight showing of this last night, and I thought it was lots of fun, and a worthy sequel to the first Predator (of which I am a big fan). I like the retro aspect of it - there's no "winking" at the audience or anything. Scobias read this as over-seriousness but I read it as old-school

Gemini Man
remember that show? He could turn invisible.
