I listened to an interview with Abbi and Ilana (maybe on Marc Maron's podcast?) where they said they weren't sure what to expect with HRC - if she was going to be game for everything in the script, etc. They said she was totally willing to do whatever they wanted, and very warm and friendly.
It's disgusting. I'd hoped, even with Hillary's cameo, that the gross rhetoric plaguing her campaign would be largely absent from AVC.
Season 1, I was all about Ilana. Then, to my surprise, Abbi came in and stole my heart in season 2. Shit, it's hard for me to pick just one, but I think Abbi just slightly edges ahead.
Easily the most painful vaccine I've ever gotten. That cold feeling that spreads down your arm as the shot goes in…I'll never forget that.
I was 7 during the show's last season; I'm sure I liked it because there was a girl in it my own age, it was funny and…I don't know, whatever other reasons an elementary-school aged child liked a show. Watching reruns today, yeah, it's corny, overly sincere, cliched, etc., but it was a harmless show that entertained…
The chicken that appeared to be drowning after it fell off the boat stressed me out.
Probst said on Twitter to keep an eye on Debbie's job titles as the season goes on.
That whole weed smoking conversation was weird.
The way Felicity Huffman's face ever-so-perceptively changed in the last scene as it was confirmed a rape did happen was sublime acting on her part. She went from stony and obstinate to "Oh, shit" subtly yet it had a big impact.
The new season of Agent Carter.
I can't wait to get my hands on that book - glad to hear it's as engrossing as I hoped!

I'm wondering how Regina King's character's chumminess with the police, as explained in the phone call she made after the road rage incident, will come into play down the road.
I can't recall seeing that effect anywhere else, and it was strange at first, but you're right - so incredibly effective. It shows how great the acting is when so much can be translated by an actor's face while someone off-screen is talking.
Hannah's dad on Girls, too.
That's shitty….I feel like Chris Hardwick would never let that happen!
Her standup is OK, but I'm far more charmed by her podcast/presence on social media.
That's my goal, too - I'd been waiting to go see it with my mom for nostalgia reasons, and then I got an apologetic phone call Sunday morning informing me she and my dad saw it the previous night. AND THEN I was spoiled after being so goddamn careful not to be, thanks to my roommate watching a rerun of Undateable…
I finished Sarai Walker's Dietland this morning, which is the satirical feminist novel of my dreams. Highly recommend.
