Oh my god, he calls the director "Monsieur Jean-Marc." I CAN'T.

I read the book (a while ago, so the details we hazy), but I was still on edge throughout the entire episode. My heart was racing as the end credits rolled.
The way he said something to Celeste along the lines of "You just had the wind knocked out of you" as she lay in the fetal position on the bathroom floor was chilling, even moreso when we eventually saw what led to her being in that position.
I think the same can be said for Kristen Stewart; she's absolutely dreadful in Twilight, but my ire is probably with the source material rather than the acting. American Ultra, however…phenomenal.
No, he was dating Carly Aquilino, a standup who's been on MTV's Girl Code, among other things.
Anything Goes or Thoroughly Modern Millie would be great, as would 42nd Street.
Yup, Penny is supposed to be oblivious to Tracy during that song. I believe, in the Broadway production, she falls into a bin or something equally clumsy.
I'm almost positive that was added in.
I haaaaated that Ariana Grande used her (I assume) normal speaking voice instead of the affected, squeaky voice most people who have played Penny adopted. A gum-chewing, sheltered nerd shouldn't have that throaty of a voice.
The camera work was SO BAD. I saw way too many backs of heads last night than I should have on a major network live broadcast, especially one that seemed to have been rehearsed to death, if the pre-show was any indication.
In case you're still wondering, one month later, she's in commercials right now playing the annoying digestive tract/maybe just intestines for some kind of IBS medication.
This book sort of fits that bill; written by the daughter of Hef's personal physician and best friend. She lived there starting at age 6, if memory serves me correctly.

Just when I thought I couldn't love Aaron Rodgers any more after he appeared on Jeopardy wearing a cardigan, his interview with Pete Holmes was really interesting. From the UFO thing to his insights into organized religion, I thought the whole 2-hour podcast was worth it.
Glad you liked these episodes of DGMS better!
My roommate said to the TV, "Really? Barefoot in New York City? That's your worst decision so far."
I love your username/avatar. VR is one of my favorite Bravo shows.
Does anyone know what song played over the closing credits?
Some of my favorites this week:
That one's great; other episodes I recommend are the ones on Florida, thrifting, the Eurovision song contest, true crime/cults, Disney theme parks, and Bob Fosse.
I thought for sure HRC was going to say something to Ilana about the pencils stabbing her.
